In accordance with its legal duties, the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam offers further education programmes in addition to its undergraduate programmes. Continuing education is a relevant component of lifelong learning and is part of the permanent educational offer of our application and research-oriented university.
With this in mind, we offer participants from different professional and age groups a variety of opportunities to expand their qualification profile and competencies in a targeted manner. The further education unit at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (ZEW) is a non-profit commercial enterprise under tax law. Its structure is based on the principle of professional decentralisation and organisational-logistical centralisation: The professional design of and responsibility for continuing education programmes lies explicitly with the departments, degree programmes and lecturers of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, while the ZEW, as a service institution of the university, coordinates services centrally and provides them "from a single source", namely for the development, marketing, implementation and administration of continuing education projects.
