Start of studies at the Information Sciences Department
Welcome to the beginning of your studies at the information sciences departmentat the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. For first-year students and newly enrolled students, we organise an introductory week at the beginning of the semester.

Sie möchten wissen, wann und wo es losgeht? Wir starten am 04. Oktober direkt nach der Immatrikulationsfeier mit unseren Einführungsveranstaltungen. Alle Studienanfänger*innen und Neu-Immatrikulierten erhalten schon am ersten Tag wichtige Informationen für ihr weiteres Studium.

Hello and welcome!
On 4 October, after the matriculation ceremony, we will start at 12.00 with our introductory events for all first-year students and newly matriculated students. You will immediately receive very relevant information for your further studies at the department.

If you would like to attend the central matriculation ceremony in the large lecture hall of the main building, registration is required. However, it is also possible to join via zoom. In both cases, please follow this link to the matriculation ceremony .
However, you should definitely come to the small lecture hall main building/room 067 at 12.00. The campus tour is especially important this semester! We will provide you with more details on the spot.
