Start of studies at the Deparment of Information Sciences
Welcome to the beginning of your studies at the Department of Information Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. For first-year students and newly enrolled students, we organise an introductory week at the beginning of the semester.

The introductory week for the 2025/26 winter semester has already ended.
The next application period for the Archival Studies (BA), Library Science (BA) and Information and Data Management (BA) programmes begins on the 15th of June, 2026.
From autumn 2026, you will find detailed information here about starting your studies, orientation programmes, important dates and contact persons.
