Start of the Degree Programme Arts Management and Cultural Work

Welcome to the beginning of the Bachelor's programme in Arts Management and Cultural Work at the CITY | BUILDING | CULTURE department at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. We organise an introductory week for first-year students and newly enrolled students at the beginning of the semester.

Information on the start of studies

Freshers’ Week will take place during the 2026/27 winter term from 28th of September 2026 to 2 October 2026. Click here for the programme for Freshers’ Week on the Cultural Work degree programme.

Please also note the following dates:

The Central Matriculation Ceremony will take place on 5th of October 2026 in the Theatre Workshop Space in the Main Building from 10.00 am to 11.30 am.
Please remember to book a ticket for the event! Attendance at this event is optional.
On Monday, 5th of October 2026, from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm in room A.0.22/A.0.20 (House A), the welcome session hosted by the programme’s teaching staff will take place.
Also on Monday, 5th of October 2026, the IT induction session and safety briefing for all first-year students will take place from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm in the main lecture theatre in the main building. This session is compulsory!
