Welcome to the start of the degree programme Conservation and Restoration at the CITY | BUILDING | CULTURE department at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. We are organizing an introductory week for first-year students and newly enrolled students at the start of the semester.

Information on the start of studies

The academic staff of the Conservation and Restoration degree programme look forward to welcoming you in the winter semester 2026/27! To mark the occasion, we invite you to the programme’s official welcome event on Monday, 21st of September 2026 at 9.00 am. The meeting point is in House A/Room 308.

At the introductory session, you will receive the key information you need to get started on your degree programme:

  • Study plan, timetable, organisational details, etc.
  • A short tour of the programme’s laboratories and workshops in the laboratory and workshop building

During the brunch on the terrace afterwards, there will be an opportunity to get to know one another better.

Your first module, the block course B.K 04.3 ‘Photography’ taught by Christoph Otto, begins on Monday, 21st September 2026 at 2.00 pm in House A/Room 022.
