Notes on the funding line

The Ministry of Science, Research and Culture (MWFK) has been funding the digitisation of cultural assets in the state of Brandenburg with its own funding line since 2014.

The funding principles and the associated application documents are published in the genre-specific cultural funding section under the heading Digitisation.

As a planning aid, the Brandenburg-digital coordination office provides the checklist for the digitisation of cultural property in the state of Brandenburg. The document is attached below.

Since 2021, the MWFK has also been funding the development of institutional digitisation strategies and innovative pilot projects with an independent funding line entitled "Digital Transformation in Cultural Institutions (DIWA)". This funding line is addressed to cultural institutions of all sectors (creative as well as preserving and mediating culture). The corresponding funding principles and related documents are also published in the genre-specific cultural funding section under the above link.
