Event management at FH Potsdam

The event management team at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam coordinates and supports central and cooperative events at the university and ensures that everything runs smoothly, from planning and implementation to follow-up. In addition to internal events, we also support the rental of rooms to external partners and are available as a location for film and television productions.

Our tasks include the planning, realisation and follow-up of strategic university events, the coordination of cooperative conferences, workshops and advising the departments on special events. We work closely with the departments, room management, central IT, building management, the canteen and the Coffee Nerds cafeteria to ensure that events run smoothly and are successfully implemented.

In addition to internal events, we also support the rental of rooms to external partners. Whether for seminars, conferences or special events - we offer modern and flexible rooms that meet the needs of different event formats.

Your Event - Our Services

Central university event

Central university events are intended to strengthen the university community, internal networking and the positioning of the FHP in the public eye. These are strategic, overarching events organised by the university itself.

As event managers, we coordinate all organisational phases from planning, conception and implementation through to follow-up.

Co-operative event

Cooperative events are formats in which various stakeholders - such as students, lecturers, external partners (e.g. companies, public institutions or non-profit organisations) - work together on a topic and thus initiate knowledge transfer.

As event managers, we act as the interface between the FHP project managers and the external partners and support contract management and communication between the participants.

Decentralised events

In addition to annually recurring formats for their target groups, the departments and central institutions of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam also organise new events such as readings or workshops on current topics.

If required, the event management team can provide advice and support.

Letting of rooms

The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam endeavours to make optimum use of spatial resources. We are happy to rent our rooms - preferably during the lecture-free period - to external institutions, organisations, clubs, etc.
The costs depend on the size of the room in question, the period of use and any equipment available or required.

As event managers, we support you with inspections, planning and contract management.
