Discrimination in the workplace occurs when an employee is disadvantaged in the professional environment without an objective reason. In such a case, you can contact the AGG representative of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and file a complaint.
Right to lodge a complaint in the event of discrimination in the workplace
Employees have the right to lodge a complaint if they feel disadvantaged by their employer, superiors, other employees or third parties in connection with their employment relationship due to a reason listed in Section 1 of the Allgemeines Gleichstellungsgesetz (AGG)
The grounds listed there are race, ethnic origin, gender, religion, ideology, disability, age or sexual identity.
The AGG officer examines the complaint and informs the employee of the outcome.
