Lists containing numbered transaction numbers (TANs) are being phased out

The TAN lists currently used by both students and examiners will shortly be replaced by a more modern and secure authentication procedure.

The TAN lists currently used by both students and examiners will shortly be replaced by a more modern and secure authentication process. The aim of this change is to simplify the user experience and enhance security during login and registration. 

What exactly is changing? 

From 1st of August 2026, the issuing and generation of new TAN lists will cease. As two-factor authentication is already integrated into the login process for the MyCampus portal, additional verification via TAN lists is no longer required. The portal’s existing security structure already provides all necessary safeguards. 

All TAN lists issued to date will cease to be valid from 1st of August 2026
