All departments and bodies of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (e.g. Departments, research institutes, the Student Affairs Office, the Library, the University Senate, the AStA, the Staff Council, interdisciplinary working groups) are responsible for creating their own websites. The accuracy and up-to-date nature of the content are therefore the responsibility of the creators of the individual pages or lie with the authorised representative of the relevant unit or with a person authorised by them.
The official social media channels of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam are managed by the Marketing and Content Management Office. All other social media presences, as well as the profiles of the departments and individual working groups, project groups or university groups, are the responsibility of their respective creators.
For the bilingual presentation of content, the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam uses an automatic translation service with optional editorial review. Further information on DeepL’s features can be found on the provider’s website.
The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam does not use so-called social plugins on any of the websites managed by the Marketing and Content Management Office, thereby complying with a recommendation from the State Commissioner for Data Protection and the Right of Access to Files of the State of Brandenburg.
