PhD Day 2026: Interdisciplinarity, Input and Interaction
Following the successful PhD Days at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the HNE Eberswalde, the TH Bandenburg is hosting this event this year. The PhD Day is aimed at doctoral students and those interested in doing a doctorate at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, HNE Eberswalde, TH Brandenburg and TH Wildau, but is also open to all other interested parties. For the first time, we are also specifically addressing doctoral supervisors.
In a poster session and an expert talk on the framework conditions for good doctoral supervision, we would like to bring together different perspectives and strengthen the exchange between doctoral candidates and supervisors.
You can look forward to:
- Insights into the current work of the Dean's Administrative Office of the Doctoral College of the HAWs in Brandenburg,
- professional exchange in the poster session,
- practice-orientated workshops on AI in literature research, knowledge management with Obsidian and career planning,
- expert talk and exchange on the topic of framework conditions for good doctoral supervision - pitfalls and opportunities
- as well as inspiring networking moments over coffee and cake
Whether in the middle of the doctoral process, with initial thoughts of a doctorate or as a supervisor: the PhD Day offers space for new contacts, fresh ideas and interdisciplinary exchange in an open atmosphere.
