Workshop on effective self-management and time management

Lydia Hänel provides participants with a suitcase of methods and opportunities for reflection and exchange in order to develop more composure, structure and sovereignty in their own time and self-management and to create new spaces for focussed, disruption-free and efficient work.

In view of parallel tasks in different areas of life, self-organised work and short or long-term deadlines, it is often difficult to set priorities, find time and space for concentrated and undisturbed work and be mindful of our own energy.

On the one hand, digital tools make our work easier, but on the other hand they can distract us from what we actually want to concentrate on and blur the boundaries between our study, work and private lives.

Unpredictable schedule changes and newly added tasks make it even more difficult to maintain a clear overview and find work windows that are free of disruptions.

In the workshop with mindfulness trainer and psychologist Lydia Hänel, participants learn to scrutinise their everyday lives, uncover time wasters and bring more structure to their time and self-management:

  • Prioritisation of tasks
  • Creating time windows for undisturbed and focussed work
  • Keeping an eye on long-term projects and simultaneously incorporating acute tasks
  • Using time off responsibly and healthily
