The research interest of the study series concerns the perceptions and interpretations of anti-Semitism in schools and within the police force as well as the practices of dealing with anti-Semitic attacks.

The Close-Up Cloud presents a visualisation approach that questions the separation of overview and detail. The iconographic details of images are summarised to reveal visual patterns in a collection and stimulate exploration through the holdings.

BiKA is a joint research project of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the research and development institute PädQUIS®, affiliated institute of ASH Berlin and co-operation institute of the University of Graz. The study was developed jointly and is being carried out under joint responsibility. It is funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.

This research project was conducted as part of a course at the Department of Social and Educational Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.
