MaaS4P combines the regular public transport lines with networked and automated Mobility-as-a-Service offers for the north of Potsdam. The building blocks are: (1) a mobility platform for individual mobility planning and integrated operations management, (2) automated microbuses with demand-responsive operation and (3) a mobility station with bike and car sharing services.

The concept analyses the mobility needs at neighbourhood level, links these with the requirements of urban transport planning and develops a service design with mobility service providers (transport companies, car sharing, bike sharing, service platform).

The aim is to secure individual mobility and achieve local climate and environmental goals. The microbus system opens up short distances to bus stops. Mobility stations offer services for routes that are not easily accessible by public transport. The integrated mobility management platform guarantees access to the entire range of services, including simple booking and an innovative billing model.
