Stone Days 2026 - Event organised by the Stone Conservation Section of the Restaurationsverband VDR
Steintage 2026 will take place from the 12th to 14th of February 2026 at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. The event, organised by the Stone Conservation Section of the Association of German Conservators (VDR), provides a forum for professional exchange and discussion of current topics in stone conservation.
The conference combines specialist lectures, excursions and practical insights into current stone restoration projects. The aim is to present interesting restoration and research projects related to stone conservation as well as challenging conservation topics and to promote professional exchange.
Both completed projects and those currently in the planning or preliminary investigation stages will be presented, supplemented by findings and experiences in dealing with old and new restoration materials.
