Transfer coffee meets Morning Call: New Topics and Dates

The InNoWest digitalisation team and the Prignitz University Office (Wittenberge site) are continuing their joint online format. The cooperation aims to promote dialogue between universities and stakeholders in the Northwest Brandenburg region (companies, institutions, administration and civil society) and encourage learning from one another.
The online format impresses with its input from experts, the opportunity to talk to them and its focus on digitalisation topics.
The event takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 08.30 am to 09.30 am . The event starts with an expert input (approx. 30 minutes) and is followed by time for questions and discussion.

Prof Dr Artur Tarassow (TH Brandenburg): Data Analysis, the Basis of Sales Forecasting – Insights with Machine Learning to increase Efficiency
Prof Dr Artur Tarassow explains two key aspects of modern business analysis: Firstly, he shows how machine learning improves sales forecasting and helps companies to answer the question: What? When? How much? and Where? Secondly, he explains methods of allocation with which sales fluctuations can be broken down into their components such as trends, seasonality and exceptional events. These insights enable more efficient planning of stock levels and marketing measures.
