Inaugural lecture by Prof Andrij Kutnyi
To mark his appointment as Professor of Digital Building Surveying and As-Built Analysis at the Department of Civil Engineering, Professor Kutnyi invites you to his inaugural lecture "Vermessen, Erfassen, Verstehen - Bauaufnahme im Zeitalter der Digitalisierung" a lecute in German language.
The development of technologies and digital possibilities is changing the approaches and methods of building surveys and as-built analyses - especially in the recording of historical buildings.
The presentation will give a brief overview of the work processes and surveying equipment used, based on a number of student projects and research projects that were created under his supervision or with his participation during his work at various universities and colleges.
This presentation not only shows the technical development of the methods, but also offers the opportunity to familiarise oneself with buildings from other countries and cultures.
The event will also be offered in hybrid form.
