Weaving different perspectives into future stories

Morari (Latin for linger) is a six-part urban furniture series developed in collaboration with Jesse Altmann, Valentina Lenk and Klara Schneider, which questions the comfort at bus stops using Potsdam as an example.

The exhibition showed photographic works that dealt with the societal and social challenges of the present day. It was on display from the 12^th of July until the 8^th of September 2023 at the Brandenburg State Parliament in Potsdam.

In collaboration with the photographer Frédéric Brenner and his international project team, the GraDiM research project is developing theoretical and technical concepts for the visualisation of a photographic archive, with particular sensitivity towards a collection documenting the Jewish diaspora.

In the "sepulcrum" seminar, contemporary and biodegradable urns for humans or animals were designed in cooperation with the family business and urn manufacturer Völsing. In a final presentation with jury meeting at the Baumschulenweg crematorium, the best urn designs were awarded prizes.

A modular and underwired bra design for large breasts

As part of the European Month of Photography 2023, a collective exhibition of seven Berlin and Potsdam training centres in the field of photography was presented on the theme of ‘Urgent Present’ („Drängende Gegenwart“). 

A collaboration between the daily newspaper "taz" and UCLAB aimed at communicating future climate scenarios through various channels using data visualisations. To this end, both physical and digital postcards featuring visualisations of various aspects of climate protection in Germany were designed and produced.

A story about open-cast mining in Germany and its victims

In her bachelor thesis, Julia Bohle deals with the personality trait of high sensitivity, both photographically and theoretically.
