Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Anne Tauch has published an article in the ESRI journal WhereNext. Among other things, the article refers to GIS projects with regional partners, which students from the Department of Civil Engineering have worked on and also presented at a GIS conference.
Geoinformation systems (GIS) play a key role in modern civil engineering practice. By integrating GIS into their studies at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, students are able to precisely analyse and visualise spatial data and use it efficiently in the planning and implementation of construction projects. They have already proven this in practice.
