Voice & Presence in Social Media Formats

Great content, but your voice trembles, your breath hitches or you don't feel present enough in front of the camera − you know the feeling? Then this workshop is just right for you!

How do you get a grip on nervousness with targeted breathing work? How do you optimally warm up your voice? How can you impress with more presence in videos and live formats?

Whether it's a podcast, Instagram reel or LinkedIn Live − with the right techniques, you can radiate calm, clarity and authenticity, a workshop for international students.

What you can expect:
  • Feedback on the effect of your individual voice, speaking style and presence
  • Audio and video analysis in relation to voice, body language and overall effect
  • Exercises to develop physiological abdominal and flank breathing (healthy breathing)
  • Finding and developing the middle voice range
  • Vocalisation and delivery, warming up the voice properly before use (vocal warm-up)
  • Training self-awareness and awareness of others in relation to the voice, speaking style, body language and presence
  • Methods for dealing with nervousness before speaking and presentation situations
  • Structure and realisation of a short presentation
  • Patsy Rodenberg's 3 presence circles method for training your own presence - especially in video formats
These methods are used:

Individual work, group work, audio analysis, video analysis, breathing training, practical methods for voice, articulation and presence

About the trainer:

Julia-Toni Reiche is an expert in voice, effective communication and conflict management. She is a speech scientist (MA) specialising in the areas of voice, rhetoric and the art of speaking. She supports people in presenting their knowledge in front of an audience, reducing their fears through coaching, reflecting on their communication behaviour and rediscovering it with the help of practical impulses. She wrote her master's thesis on the use of speech science methods in coaching-based training and has been applying the method in practice in her formats ever since.
