Conservation and Restauration Degree Programme at the Monument Fair in Leipzig

The Conservation and Restauration course at the Department of CITY | BUILDING | CULTURE will be presenting itself from the 7th to the 9th of November at the leading European trade fair for monument conservation in Leipzig, restoration and old building renovation.

Every two years, national and international experts meet, restorers, craftspeople and monument specialists of all kinds come together to inform, discuss and network. This year, climate protection and sustainability in the heritage sector are important topics at the trade fair. The Conservation and Restauration degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP) deals with the associated issues in both teaching and research.

The Conservation and Restauration degree programme will be presenting research projects at the fair and answering questions about the course. During the three days of the exhibition, teaching staff and students will be on hand at the stand to discuss with participants, demonstrate historical craft techniques and modern restoration methods and introduce interested parties to the exciting professional field of conservation and restoration.
