Researching the underrepresentation of female scientists in journalism and science communication and developing formats and a support structure to increase the visibility of female experts and create role models for young scientists.

The project analyses the underrepresentation of female scientists in science reporting and digital science communication.

Based on this, sustainable action strategies and support systems will be developed that will lead to a successful increase in the presence of female scientists in both areas.

To this end, the project cooperates with media partners from print, TV and radio. The implemented modules of the support structure will be used and trialled in the project's nationwide university network and also disseminated by the transfer partners.
