Retrospective
With the FHP Mobil to Perleberg for the BRANDENBURG-DAY 2025

The Conservation and Restoration degree programme travelled to Perleberg with the FHP Mobil in mid-September 2025 for the BRANDENBURG-DAY 2025 and presented objects from the three fields of study Wood, Stone and Wall Painting as well as the interdisciplinary subjects design basics and natural sciences in a small but excellent exhibition.
The motto of the Perleberg BRANDENBURG DAY 2025 was based on Perleberg's coat of arms, which shows a central pearl surrounded by 24 other pearls in a golden spur wheel with eight other pearls around it. This variety of pearls stands for the countless players from Perleberg, Prignitz, the whole of Brandenburg and the nearby neighbourhood in Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxony-Anhalt, the numerous associations and clubs and their passionate members.
Each and every one of them is a pearl! All of them together form a true pearl of splendour: imaginative, not always perfect, but with a great deal of heart and soul and passion!
The Conservation and Restoration degree programme presented itself at the BRANDENBURG-DAY 2025 with an exhibition in the FHP Mobil with its three study programmes Wood, Stone and Wall Painting and the accompanying subjects Design Basics and Natural Sciences. The results of the cooperation agreement concluded this year were also on display. Some students have already worked intensively with various art objects from Prignitz in project and final theses and achieved exciting results. In the run-up to the event, we were able to arrange meetings with actors from the region for the two days of the event and deepen our existing relationships and establish new ones during the discussions.
Exciting project ideas were discussed and are now awaiting planning and implementation. Overall, the event was a great success and a very successful trip to the beautiful Prignitz region.
