20th German Concrete Canoe Regatta 2026: The FH;PeliKanus Are Back!
Preparations for the 20th Concrete Canoe Regatta on the 19th and 20th of June are in full swing. The Department of Civil Engineering is already training hard.
The Concrete Canoe Regatta will take place for the 20th time in Brandenburg an der Havel from the 19th to the 20th of June 2026. Students from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam will once again be taking part, competing against teams from all over Germany in concrete boats they have built themselves.
The Concrete Canoe Regatta is more than just a sporting competition. This event is all about the perfect combination of concrete construction technology, boat design and teamwork. The challenge: to build a concrete canoe that is as light as possible yet robust, and that floats and is fast. Building on the successes of recent years, the team from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is hoping for another award-winning regatta this year.
