Understanding Dementia. A Series of Workshops for Family Caregivers

The FAMteam's series of workshops on the topic of "Caring for relatives" is being expanded to include a free, external programme. Find out everything you need to know about dementia and how you can deal with your family members appropriately.

The ""Familie und Hochschule in Brandenburg" network is offering a series of free care courses on the topic of dementia on four consecutive dates. Lecturer Marina Dillmann will share her extensive experience of supporting people with dementia and their families. Read more here.

The care series will take place online (presumably via Big Blue Button) on the following dates from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm:

About the speaker: Marina Dillmann is a psychological counsellor and psychotherapist (HPG), a freelance occupational therapist, and a seminar leader for training and professional development courses in the fields of gerontology, relaxation techniques and communication. For over twenty years, she has specialised in the care and treatment of people with dementia. As an expert in this field, she supports people – whether professionally or privately – by providing information, training and raising awareness, as well as offering guidance and support. As the founder of the DERINA educational workshop, she runs seminars for professionals, families and people living with dementia. And for anyone who simply wants to understand.
