Students on bachelor's degree programmes in Archival Studies and Library Science who have completed Training as a Specialist for Media and Services (FaMi) and have professional experience can now have certain skills acquired outside the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam credited towards their studies. This makes study programmes more flexible and can shorten the overall duration of studies.
Students on the bachelor's degree programmes in Archive Studies and Library Science who have already completed training as a Training as a Specialist for Media and Services (FaMi) in the fields of archives or libraries with relevant professional experience can now have certain skills acquired outside of the university credited towards their studies.
This offer is aimed in particular at students who are working part-time while studying and wish to utilise their previous professional knowledge in a targeted manner. Credit transfer can make individual study programmes more flexible and potentially shorten the overall duration of the study.
An overview of the modules from the Archive Studies and Library Science degree programmes for which credit transfer is possible can be found here.
Crediting is carried out via the examination board.
