New video in the "Information(s)wissen" series released: A visit to BiblioCon 2023

What actually happens at one of the largest library and information science conferences in Germany? What are the experiences of students attending for the first time? Four students from the Library Science degree programme share their experiences in the new video in the "Information(s)wissen" series.

As part of the interview series "A word with ..." and "Information(s)wissen", the Department of Information Science at the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences offers exciting insights into the world of practice and science. The interviews are intended to help promote understanding and awareness of important information science and social issues and to stimulate discussion and reflection.

In the sixth instalment of "Information(s)wissen", students from the Library Science degree programme present their first-hand experiences: "Visiting BiblioCON 2023".

The 111th BiblioCON took place from 23 to 26 May 2023 in Hanover under the motto "Forward to Far". Angelina Hagedorn, Ioanna Danai Katsougiannopoulou, Nadja Hartwich and Sara-Lee Nußbaum took part in the conference as part of an extension module and recorded their impressions in an informative video. They report on the diverse panel discussions, the workshops and lectures they were able to attend, as well as their experiences in the exhibition area. They also provide insights into the intensive filming that documented their experiences.
