Wittenberge, Brandenburg - Students from the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences and the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development invited to the presentation and discussion of student work in the module "Off to the Elbe - Future of the Elbe".

Students from the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development met in Wittenberge for two days each in April and May. The aim of this cross-university collaboration is to find new perspectives on the Elbe and its surroundings.

Working in interdisciplinary teams, using creative methods and input from local experts, the students develop a variety of perspectives on the Elbe - including from the point of view of ecology, participation and design. The seminar was part of the joint project InNoWest - Einfach Machen! and generated exciting ideas for the sustainable development of the Elbe and its surroundings. The project was organised in cooperation with Public Art Lab.

On the 14th of June 2025, at the Sportjugend Wittenberge site "Der Friedensteich" stakeholders from the region discussed and further developed the results to date in the form of texts, maps, visual studies, photographs and illustrations.
