Calisthenics Facility Officially Opened on the FHP Campus

After just a few weeks of construction, the calisthenics facility on our FHP campus was officially opened on the 30th of June 2026 by our University Sports Officer, Elias Pflaumbaum and our Deputy Head of Administration, Katrhin Fischer.

This new outdoor sports area offers the opportunity to improve fitness, flexibility and strength in a modern, sustainable environment, whilst enjoying physical activity together. Dean Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gutzeit (Department of Civil Engineering) was one of the first to inaugurate the facility with a sports session, immediately demonstrating that academic thinking and physical activity go hand in hand. Please do give the facility a go and help make it a place where everyone can meet and get active.
