Digital law and data protection
This workshop forms part of the Digital Transformation certificate programme and focuses on digital law and data protection. It provides participants with the comprehensive knowledge needed to handle data in companies.
The handling of data is playing an increasingly important role for companies. Whether personal data, company data or data in the context of artificial intelligence, the processing of data is increasingly determining our everyday working lives. This results in an ever-increasing need for a right to data. Even if this does not yet exist in its entirety, the European General Data Protection Regulation for personal data, the Trade Secrets Protection Act and the AI Regulation have already created regulations for handling special types of data.
In addition to answering fundamental questions, the workshop with lawyer Harald Keil will also provide specific examples of how companies can implement the requirements resulting from these regulations and thus prepare participants for compliance in their company. Among other things, the aim is to be able to avoid the corresponding liability traps.
These are the topics:
- Law and data
- Protection of personal data (data protection law)
- Data protection regulations that must be observed in everyday working life
- Declaration of consent as the basis for processing personal data
- Content of an order processing contract
- Protection of non-personal data
- Content of a confidentiality agreement
- Compliance with the law on the protection of trade secrets
- Obligations when dealing with artificial intelligence
The workshop is part of the certificate programme "Digital Transformation" certificate programme from Work@Heart and will be held via Zoom.
