Social Work in Daycare Centers in Brandenburg: Practice and Prospects – Register now!

Strengthening social work in childcare centres, opening up new prospects: the symposium at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam brings together practitioners, academics and local government representatives. Keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops provide insights into Brandenburg’s ‘Kiez-Kita’ state programme and offer a forum for discussing opportunities and challenges.

The symposium ‘Social Work in Daycare Centers in Brandenburg: Practice and Prospects’ provides insights into the practice of social work in early years settings in Potsdam and Brandenburg, whilst also examining its future prospects. Numerous stakeholders from the field of early years care will have their say through various elements of the programme.

The focus is on dialogue between providers of Childhood Education, education policy-makers, students, specialists and teaching staff involved in initial and continuing professional development, university representatives and other interested parties.

Anyone interested is warmly invited to take part in the discussion.
