Invisible? Perspectives of Homeless Women

Over the past few months, AWO Familienhaus and AWO Frauenwohnen, in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, have conducted narrative interviews with women in emergency housing assistance at AWO BV Potsdam facilities. The results, which are relevant both for the practice in the WNH facilities, the advice centres and meeting places, as well as for politics and administration, will be presented at a specialist and networking event during the Brandenburg Women's Week on the 27th of March 2025 from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm in Potsdam.

The event is aimed at professionals, politicians and administrators as well as those affected. In addition to the project presentation and an expert discussion based on the results, there will be space for dialogue and networking. In particular, the exchange between the actors in Brandenburg and Berlin together with those affected will be a relevant aspect of the event. Women from emergency housing assistance organisations are therefore particularly welcome to attend. Childcare will be provided.
