InnoPrax – Innovation Meets Practice
Innovative, communicative, participative! Representatives of funding organisations, students and teaching staff come together at the InnoPrax networking fair.
As part of our career fair, the Transfer Laboratory of the Department of Social and Educational Sciences invites you to an engaging exchange.
On this day, institutions and organizations will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and their work to students and to recruit potential interns or future colleagues from the “Social Work” and “Early Childhood Education” programmes. Students will gain insight into various professional fields and roles, learn more about them, and have the chance to talk with professionals on-site.
InnoPrax is supported by the project International Professionals for the Berlin-Brandenburg Metropolitan Region IFMB2 as well as the Work@Heart project by 360°Zukunft.

Under the theme
“Third Mission: Transfer, Innovation, Gestaltung für eine demokratische Gesellschaft”
we cordially invite you to “InnoPrax 2026.”
The goal of “Third Mission” is to foster a continuous, reciprocal exchange between expertise in the philosophy of science and the concrete experiences and needs of practitioners, organizations, municipalities, and civil society actors in the Brandenburg region.
Thus, “Third Mission” at the Department of Social and Educational Sciences is understood not as an additional, peripheral activity, but as an integral part of teaching and research.
The event will begin at 10.00 am in the Main Lecture Theatre H.1.08 (Main Building) with a presentation of the day’s program, as well as an introduction to the new curriculum and its accompanying internship structures.
Following this, Stefan Raich from the “InnoWest” project will give a keynote presentation on the topic “FH Potsdam und Brandenburg: Strukturen der Third Mission”. We cordially invite you to join the discussion afterward.
To help you connect better with the students, we have prepared a short communication game for you and the students. You will receive information about this when you register on the day of InnoPrax.
