Donate blood and save lives – blood donation campaign at the FHP!

On 19th of May, a blood donation campaign will take place on the first floor of the main building of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam in cooperation with the German Red Cross. We invite you to come along between 9 am and 4 pm - every donation counts.

Around 14,000 to 15,000 blood donations are needed every day in Germany to ensure patient care. As blood stocks are often too low, every single donation is of great importance.

On 19th of May 2026, all students, employees and interested parties can donate blood in the main building from 9 am to 4 pm. The team of the German Red Cross will take care of the entire process on this day, including looking after the donors and providing information material.

Prior registration is requested, but is not mandatory. Please bring your identity card with you to the appointment.

Every donation can save lives. Any support is therefore greatly appreciated. The event is organised by the Department of CITY | BUILDING | CULTURE's Student Council in cooperation with the German Red Cross.
