At the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP) there are more than 30 Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in the five departments of Social and Educational Sciences, CITY | BUILDING | CULTURE, Civil Engineering, Design and Information Sciences. A personal working atmosphere and small groups characterise the studies at the FHP.

Our laboratories and workshops are an important part of our teaching. This is where we tinker, fiddle and research.
Research at Eye Level
Under the guiding principle of "research-based learning", you can familiarise yourself with the methods of application-oriented research at an early stage. Interdisciplinary projects give you the opportunity to work together with fellow students and teachers from other departments and degree programmes.
International
During your studies, you have the opportunity to gain experience abroad. The International Office will support you in this. International students are always welcome at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam!
Family
Studying with child(ren) or relatives to care for is often challenging. The University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is a place for families. For university members with family responsibilities, there are, for example, flexible childcare options.

Study without Abi
Studying at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is also possible without an Abitur under certain conditions.
Application for a Higher Semester
You can continue your studies that you started at another university at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam or change to a higher semester.
Second Degree
Some of our restricted-admission degree programmes are awarded to students who have already completed a degree. Feel free to apply!
Guest Auditor
You are not a student, but you are interested in courses and would like to attend them? This is possible within the framework of a guest auditor.
