testing transdisciplinary tools (ttt): Visualising diversity in heterogeneous groups with the Venn Diagram
In our ninth ttt workshop, we would like to invite members of universities of applied sciences in Brandenburg to use the Venn diagram to visualise diversity in heterogeneous groups and to illustrate diverse backgrounds, interests and knowledge as well as their interfaces.
Transdisciplinary research processes bring together people with different backgrounds, interests and knowledge. The Venn Diagram can be used to visualise the diverse interests and expertise in heterogeneous groups as well as their intersections. On the one hand, this can be useful when initiating and developing a project if the question arises as to who can contribute what to an overall project. On the other hand, the Venn Diagram can also be used in the ongoing research process to clarify whether, for example, sub-projects deal with overlapping questions or topics.
In our ninth ttt workshop, we will introduce you to the Venn Diagram and use an example to show you what you need to bear in mind when using the tool.
Please register your participation by the 26th of November, 2025 via the DFN link, which is linked below the date.
The link to the online event will be sent to all workshop participants shortly before the start.
