Security for the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam

The security staff works according to instructions that have been agreed upon with the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam. In accordance with these instructions and within the framework of the house rules of the FHP, they exercise domiciliary rights. The security staff cannot and must not "negotiate". Changes or additions must be agreed upon with the FHP's supervisor.

The campus of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is secured by security (security staff in the Info-HG, with patrols on the grounds/ in the buildings) and, if necessary, by additional patrols (separate approach by patrol drivers).

Emergency call lists of university members, rescue and security forces are available in the continuously manned Info-HG/reception in the main building of the FHP. The emergency call centre of the service provider guarantees an additional 24-hour standby as possible support.

The campus of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is partially under video surveillance - main access/parking area. Signposting is available. Details have been agreed between the FHP management and the staff councils. Further information can be found on the pages on video surveillance.
