Potsdam: From Science City to Knowledge Transfer City?

This event, part of the 17th International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM) held at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, is organized by the New Club of Paris and the Gesellschaft für Wissensmanagement e. V. and seeks to bring together different facets of urban development.

Potsdam has many titles – UNESCO World Heritage and Creative Film City, City of Culture, City of Science and City of Knowledge Transfer, and State Capital.

What are the knowledge-based, non-material strengths of the city? What determines its self-image and image to others? Which talents does Potsdam attract and which ones rather not?

Current and future development and development potential will be discussed by local representatives from the private and public sectors, with guests from Kaunas, Tallinn, Singapore and Vienna, among others.

Moderators:

  • Stefan Güldenberg, President, New Club of Paris, and Academic Director of the Graduate School, EHL Lausanne
  • Waltraut Ritter, ICKM Conference Co-Chair, Director, Knowledge Dialogues, and Founding Member of the New Club of Paris
