Brunch for Single Parents in the STERN*ZEICHEN Community Centre
Through regular participation in the "Working Group for Single Parents in the City of Potsdam", the FAMteam receives important information about special offers for this target group. It is also a platform where the special situation of our students with children, who have sole responsibility and care for their families, can be brought up again and again. The AWO office KINDER(ar)MUT offers a wonderful opportunity for networking between single mothers and fathers and a little bit of "just getting out and about".
The AWO office KINDER(ar)MUT and the community centre STERN*ZEICHEN want to support these families and their children with the single parents' brunch. Together, they invite you to enjoy brunch in a cosy atmosphere, exchange ideas and network. This shared morning will be framed by a small cultural programme.
Join us and get to know other mothers and fathers who have also often asked themselves the question: "How am I supposed to juggle everything?"
And what are your children doing during this time? – Of course, they are also very welcome here.
The first single parents' brunch will take place on the 18th of February. The juggler and circus pedagogue Ferdinand Freudensprung will be there on this day. Attendees can try their hand at a parent-child acrobatics story: very easy and without previous experience – comfortable clothing and a good mood are nevertheless helpful. Rhythm shakers will also be made together from cardboard rolls.
