The further education programme "Mediation and Conflict Management" was developed by Prof. Dr. Mickley and successfully conducted for many years at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam under her academic leadership. Since 2019, the further education programmehas been continued in cooperation between Konflikthaus e.V. and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.

Target group

The training is aimed at third parties or those involved in family, school, business, (civil) society and politics. It comprises a total of 126 hours and is multi-methodical. The concept of the further education programme fulfils the new implementation regulations of the mediation act ZMediatAusbV. After completing the course and two practical certificates, graduates are entitled to use the title "certified mediator". The prerequisite for participation in this further training is a completed degree or vocational training and relevant professional experience.

Participation fee

The participation fee is 3,300 euros.

Unfortunately, the funding for further education by the state of Brandenburg has expired. We recommend that interested parties, including those from other federal states, find out about the programme Bildungsprämie before attending. The training is also recognised as educational leave in Berlin and Brandenburg. We recommend that interested parties from other federal states seek advice from the relevant Ministry of Education before applying for educational leave.
