Sports Commissioner

The promotion of sport is a task anchored in the Brandenburg university act (§3 para. 4) and is thus part of the educational mission at the University of Applied Sciences. Accordingly, the sports officer is the contact person for the FHP's own students and employees. The sports representative works closely with the university sports department of the University of Potsdam. University sports at the FHP as well as the use of the university sports offer is based on a jointly signed administrative agreement on cooperation with the University of Potsdam.

Information

The tasks of the sports commissioner include:

  • Advising, supporting the planning and implementation of sports events,
  • Organisation of participation in events (e.g. Potsdam company run),
  • Registration for university championships via the adh (Allgemeiner Deutscher Hochschulsportverband),
  • Interface between FHP and university sports of the University of Potsdam and direct contact person for university sports Potsdam.

University sports Potsdam offers a sporting balance for everyone with a colourful mix as well as broad variety. The current sports programme can be found at the centre for university sports.

In addition, university sports offers workshops and specials on the weekends!

Students and university members interested in cycling can also participate in the club training and weekly rides of the RSC Sturmvogel Potsdam. There is the possibility (if you have your own racing bike) to try out a training session. Interested parties can contact us at verein@rsc-sturmvogel-potsdam.de.
