Healthy FHP – Healthy Study & Work
Studies and teaching, research and administration are supported by health-related offers. University of Applied Sciences Potsdam's health management ensures that opportunities are created on campus to improve the physical and mental health of all university members, and that sports, relaxation and counselling services are integrated into everyday university life.
Concept
The declared goal of health management at University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is to create a holistic culture of health at all levels.
Course offerings on campus promote opportunities to improve physical and mental health. In close cooperation with the health insurance company Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) and the university sports department, workshops, counselling and campaigns on the topic of health enrich everyday study and work life. The Techniker Krankenkasse supports the university in facilitating health-promoting and structural changes.
Also part of the concept are so-called steering committees, which deal specifically with the development of new strategies. These are made up of members from all departments, the non-academic staff, the university management and the committees.

Occupational Health Management
Occupational health management includes measures to maintain and promote the health and well-being of FHP employees.
Student Health Management
Student Health Management enables students to help shape their living environment at the university and to experience self-efficacy. In addition, health as a cross-sectional topic in teaching can also impart important competences for later professional life.
Offers of the Techniker Krankenkasse
As a cooperation partner, Techniker Krankenkasse offers personal counselling and regular offers on the topic of health.
Regionale Anlaufstellen in Notfall- und Krisensituationen
Für unterschiedliche Herausforderungen im Studium und im persönlichen Leben bietet die Psychosoziale Beratung des Studentenwerks Potsdam Studierenden ihre Hilfe an.
Darüber hinaus stellt sie eine Liste von Anlaufstellen in Potsdam und Berlin zur Verfügung, die im Notfall und bei persönlichen Krisen Hilfe und Beratung anbieten.
