Support our students!

Be a part of it and open paths - support young talents by donating one or more Deutschlandstipendien. A scholarship costs 1,800 Euro per year. The funding is tax-deductible. The Federal Government doubles the amount, so that together with you we can provide students with 300 Euro per month.

You support a high-achieving and committed student at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam with 150 euros per month. You can decide which degree programme your scholarship holder comes from or whether the scholarship should be awarded on a subject-independent basis.

You are welcome to endow more than one scholarship. If you sponsor at least three students, you can give the scholarship your name or the name of your company. You also have the option of co-financing a Patchwork Scholarship by donating at least 50 euros. The donations will then be pooled by the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and awarded on a subject-independent basis.

With your support, you lay the foundation for the scholarship. The federal government adds the same amount. The funds go directly to the scholarship holders, whom you are welcome to meet as part of the accompanying programme organised by us.

You take on public social responsibility and contribute to strengthening University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and Potsdam as a location for science.

You promote the networking of science, business and society and help to counteract the shortage of skilled workers by accompanying future professionals during their studies. You invest in education and thus in the future of the state.

You can get to know the scholarship holders you support personally and bind them to your company or institution to some extent through company visits, discussion rounds or excursions.

You will receive a donation receipt and can use the Deutschlandstipendium logo in your communication.

We will communicate your commitment – with your consent – in our print and web media.

You must complete the funding agreement in full and send it to the office for the Deutschlandstipendium at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam with your handwritten signature in order to provide binding assurance of your funding activities. Here you can also indicate whether your sponsorship contribution should be tied to a department or degree programme or benefit the entire university.
