The Rector of the University of Applied Sciences is personally responsible for the running of the university and is its public face. He reports to the Senate annually - and when reasonably required by them to do so - on the fulfilment of her obligations.

The Governing Body

The Governing Body at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam is composed of the Deans, the Chancellor and two Pro-rectors. The university court supports the Rector in her work, although the Rector retains ultimate authority over this governing body and cannot be over-ruled.
